Dustin Johnson, the No. 3 golfer in the world, this week paid $14 million for a waterfront home in Jupiter’s exclusive Admirals Cove, a real estate broker confirmed.

Johnson is the new owner of 389 Eagle Dr., a 10,134-square-foot house that has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 110 feet water frontage that can accommodate an 80-foot boat. The property also has a resort-style backyard, covered porch, summer kitchen, infinity pool and spa, fire pit and expanded dock.

The sale is a fast flip for its prior owners, Marcia and William Ulm of Georgia, who paid $12.65 million for the property only six months ago, according to the Palm Beach County Clerk’s Office. The Ulms own MLU Services, an…

Police, Firefighters and Elected Officials in Tequesta cut the ribbon to open a new fitness facility for first responders donated by Jupiter Realtor Rob Thomson.  The old station gym shared by Police and Firefighters in the Village of Tequesta was small, dated and lacking new equipment. Tequesta Police Chief Gustavo Medina said, “Our gym needed a major overhaul. It was not appealing or functional for First Responders to stay fit to serve our community.”

Then Jupiter Realtor Rob Thomson became involved. When he saw the small room that was supposed to help keep First Responders in shape he was appalled. “If you tried to lift weights you might bump into a wall,” Thomson said and added,” the space also lacked any substantial equipment at all.”

When asked about the first charitable activity he ever did, Thomson recalls the specific day with a smile derived from the heart. That day, he donated 120 bicycles to a Christmas toy drive for Riviera Beach’s New Macedonia Baptist Church. Although the church was elated about Thomson’s contribution, over 270 children in total showed up to the church that day with the hope of obtaining one of the bikes. Thomson affirms, “There was no way I was going to have 150 other children turned away without a bike.” Thus, he quickly purchased 150 more bicycles, but because of the short notice and the shortage of bicycles around the area, Thomson could only get the parts of the bikes. So, not giving up until every single child there was happy, Thomson brought in…

Hundreds of families in Riviera Beach are getting a special surprise for Easter weekend.

A truck pulled up to New Macedonia Baptist Church on Saturday and delivered 500 colorful Easter baskets filled with toys and chocolate candy.

Jupiter realtor Rob Thomson wanted to share one of his fondest childhood memories with families who may be struggling this year. That’s what motivated him to donate the Easter baskets.

“So many kids go without Christmas, Easter. My kids are blessed and they don’t go without and you just want to help other people’s kids who may not be receiving it,” said Thomson.

The rest of the baskets will be delivered on Sunday.

Philanthropy abounds in Palm Beach County—just ask the team behind the Waterfront Way Foundation. Launched in 2018 by Rob Thomson, managing partner of Waterfront Properties & Club Communities, the foundation has focused mainly on serving those “who don’t necessarily fit in someone else’s box,” says Thomson.

Such was the case when Waterfront Way gifted Jupiter High School students a shiny new school bus as a holiday gift following a match-by-match donation where a total of $107,000 was raised for the new bus. The old bus had no air conditioning nor wheelchair access, making travel difficult for those in the Exceptional Student Education Program,…
